people scurrying with chores before

it pours

gratitude

leaflets cling – 

as wild wind buffets  – 

mighty rain clouds –

right off the horizon….

                                             

two hours later – 

recharged and reinforced – 

they rain out the wind. –

leaves flatten on their branches for the night.
